After failed attempts to grow tomatoes in AZ we successfully grew an edible tomato!!! I had been watching this lovely specimen for weeks patiently waiting for it to grow bigger and turn that bright red--Alas, the blessed day of harvest was here!! I proudly set my prize tomato on the table to take a quick picture. Just as the shutter flashed open and closed, Rylan's little hand came out of nowhere and stole the tomato and took a bite!! Who can blame him! Home grown tomatoes, freshly picked and still warm from the sun rays are truly a taste of heaven, right up there with Godiva Chocolate Raspberry truffles!!

Good job! That looks so good! I'm jealous I don't have any home grown tomatoes!
i want one!!! we have tried to grow tomatoes here in AZ and the birds dive bomb them and ruin the ripe ones! i was always so mad about it, i stopped trying to grow them. maybe one day i shall try again! good work~!
