Here is a shot of what we did to Rylan's nursery....I couldn't find baby boy bedding that I liked so I ended up buying a king bedding set and my mom and I used the fabric from that set to sew a crib set....(the king dust ruffle was the perfect length to make the crib dust ruffle and a matching window valance.) The truth be told- he hardly ever sleeps in the nursery---I still have him sleep in his bassinet in our room....I guess I am a way attached mother! The poor little guy is getting too big for the bassinet so I will have to toughen up and make the transition in the next couple of weeks!!! Ha! And to think that I thought it was SOO crazy when people told me they kept the cribs in their bedrooms for the first year!! I guess I understand now how the next room over can feel like a mile away!

oh man, i remember when evie starting sleeping in her own crib. it was so hard for me. she was probably about 5 or 6 months. it really does feel like they are in a different house almost, seems so far away from you. don't worry. it will get easier. the nursery looks great!
His room is adorable, Monica. And I seriously love his hair! Once you get him in his crib, you will wonder what took so long...Just keep that monitor close by and it'll be great!

I love the room! It is great. Yeah, I remember those long ago days ... but really it is nice when they are in their own room. You'll be find and so will he and you will get a better nights sleep.
Love the nursery. I can remember way back when you where telling me about the king bedding you had found to put the crib set together...and even before that when you where deciding on colors! You have the Monica touch. It looks rich in color and style.
