Making cookies with Grandma
Jumping back in time- my mom, bless her heart, came out to help with the baby and be here for rylan while I was at the hospital....i ended up not going as early as they had predicted, long and short, we had my mom here for what I am sure felt like a long time to her but it went fast for us.....(i would build a guest house for the grandparents in my backyard if they would agree to it) We love love love having the grandparents around. So much help!!! Rylan loved making things with my mom!
And these are some random photos- I do not like prego pictures but this was a few days before Ren was born....yeah-not looking so good but hey, I had my reasons :) the other one is a cute one I found of ry and ren.....

Camping
California
Russ and Rylan went to Southern California for a few days and I survived (It was the first time that I had been apart from Rylan for longer than 36 hours...this was a big deal!) They had fun although I missed my boys terribly. I was so glad when they got home!! They got to see old friends, cousins, and the beach!
Spooktacular events of Halloween
I love Halloween. Carving pumpkins. Trick or treating. Sorting the loot. Enjoying candy. Okay, I know gum and 3 year olds aren't a good combo.
One year older and wiser.
Russ had a birthday, shout horray! For his birthday I made a dinner and had several couples over for a formal sit down dinner. Good friends, good food. (I had to throw in a picture of getting Ren ready for his bath!
A little blessing!
A little blessing. Babies are such a blessing. It was a crazy time...as we celebrated this new little life that joined our family we were mourning a tragedy in Russell's family- his oldest brother had a terrible motorcycle accident and was in critical condition and is now quadriplegic. Everyday continues to be a struggle for Russell's brother where he is fighting for his health and life. It is a reminder that life is precious. Family are a blessing. Russell's parents came down for Ren's blessings, my parents got ill last minute and had to cancel their flight but we sure appreciate the love and support of our family. Friends are a blessing. We have great friends who have been a huge support to us on every front. Friends and family are the greatest treasure! It is great to know that people love me and my family!
