Easter Best

I love Easter and Spring for all that it reminds me of- The Resurrection, Life, Rebirth, Eternal Families etc....These flowers are in front of our neighborhood and survived the cold harsh winter- days of hard frosts & the unusual snow fall....I have been watching them as I drive past daily and was so surprised to see that they not only lived but bloomed so beautifully despite the long winter...I just had to take the opportunity for a Easter best photo shoot with Rylan and his friend in their Sunday best.....

Annual Spring Zilker Botanical tour

This has turned into a spring tradition. I LOVE spring- the blooms, great weather, and getting outdoors!!! The botanical garden did not disappoint- spring is here southern style! It was so much fun to have my mom here this year as well....as a southern girl she shares the same excitement for the Souths show of blooming roses, wisteria, azaleas, ranunculus, orchids, tulips, and magnolias.

March Madness

March always equals basketball.....Rylan got to enjoy going to watch the Toro's play Basketball (a development team for the San Antonio Spurs) twice in one week, once with just the guys- (Russ, Rylan's friend, and Russell's good friend) court side!! Needless to say he LOVED sitting so close to the action....in fact that night- he had been asleep and in his sleep all of the sudden we hear him yell out "DEFENSE". We got a good laugh. Then the entire family got to go with Grandma!!! He is truly a sports fan....hmmmm-wonder where he gets it?

Getting the Garden Ready

We had left some carrots in our garden all winter and when we finally pulled them out we had quite a treat for the Easter bunny!!
